what should i get my good friend for her birthday?
one of my good friends has a birthday coming up. we've only been friends for a year but she's already done so much for me. i will forever owe her big time because she put in a good word for me at my present job. she said it wasn't that big of a deal but honestly, i don't think she understands how much i have enjoyed working there for 9 months now. so, in my book, i owe her big time. i always got compliments on a pair of diamond earrings i wore & she said she used to own a pair of heart shaped ones that broke. would getting her a pair for $80 be too much? is it appropriate? i would feel embarrassed if i went overboard or outdid her boyfriend. any thoughts?

I think that the jewelry would be overboard. I don't know if you can find it but I got my friend a silver plated heart necklace that says you make the world a better place. Something like that would be nice or a jewelry box engraved with her name on it from things remembered would be good. Don't spend more than $20...because that would be overdoing it.

you should i don't think its overpriced at all maybe since christmas is around the corner you could get her a matching necklace/bracelet :)
