Recipes for Kindergarten kids (3-5 years)?

Hi, I am an ex chef and now a kindergarten teacher and I have been asked by my school to find some recipes for the kids to cook in school, but I am finding it difficult because of constraints.

1. The lesson will be no longer than 30 minutes (15 minutes of this will probably be spent trying to calm children, putting on aprons and washing hands etc), but I can prepare items before hand (such as weighing items and portions), but the children must do the core part of the recipe

2. There must be NO COOKING, absolutely no heat whatsoever and nothing potentially dangerous.

3. Recipes must be very simple, as the children do not use english as a first language and I am their english teacher primarily, therefore lessons will be in english.

any good ideas out there at all? I need to prepare at least 6 more than I already have as I have lots already, but need to cover 1 lesson per week of cooking.

Update:

I should mention that I am in Hong Kong now, so most people don't have space for a dog or cat, let alone chickens etc, but it would be a nice idea in other countries, thank you

Read the book, "Stone Soup" and make some of your own "Stone Soup". Read the book, "The Little Red Hen" and then make your own "chicken feed". Make some vegetable dishes to feed the animals in the forest after reading the kids a book about the hungry animals in the woods. Get the idea??? You can always feed cheese to the "mice" after reading your students the book, "Mouse Mess". Good luck!

    Yummy Buzzy Treat

materials needed for each honey bee: one half of a hard boiled egg-that has been peeled and cut in half lengthwise, Miracle-whip,a black olive-pitted and sliced, 1 uncut black olive, 2 potato chips, 1 candy corn, 1 small paper plate, 1 small cup, a plastic spoon

Give preschooler half an egg on paper plate. Have them scoop out the yolk and place it in the cup with tablespoon of Miracle-whip. Instruct them to mix well. Next they return it to their egg. Open olive slices and place over yolk as stripes. Place whole olive at front as head. Insert one potato chip wing on each side of yolk. Insert candy corn stinger at back of yolk. Beelicious!

Hope this helps, my preschoolers and kindergarteners have loved the activity and the snack!

If you can use a blender or food processor you might try making fruit smoothies. Almost any fruits, yogurt, milk or juice, and ice if you like.
