I think that she's being polite in say no.

It's possible that she's playing hard to get, she could be avoiding you because she isn't sure what she wants yet. Maybe she has something going on with someone else and can't decide who to be with. Always think positive about situations like these.

there is a chance she is trying to play hard to get. there is a stronger chance she is avoiding u to give u the impression that she doesnt see u in a romantic way..

I think she's trying to be nice and tell you nonverbally that she isn't interested.

I do that too. I'll be friends with a guy but as soon as I realize he likes me more than just friends I will talk to them less, make myself busy with other things instead of flat out saying "I don't like you like that"

I'd say she doesn't like you (not in the meaning of eww, I hate you), and she thinks that you would keep trying to talk to her or something like most guys do.

hard to get or feel uncomfortable. try to ask her when no one is around.. maybe she is the shy kind person.
