Why is this chick talking about me behind my back?

This type of thing is usually a jealousy issue. She could be envious of your relations with her bf. This may very well be the problem. If that be the case, there is not much you can do.

You can try to talk to him and her, but if this is due to your relations with her bf and your bff, then you do not seem to have many options. If a person is jealous, it is an irrational emotion and trying to be nice to that person does not always help. I have found being direct with the person sometimes does, but sometimes it does not.

I have confronted some people doing this to me. Sometimes it seems to help and other times it did not seem to matter. I think confronting her may do your mind some good. Make sure you say whatever to her in a direct yet acceptable manner not to present yourself as the bad guy in this situation.

She sounds like a backstabbing girl. In my view, she seems jealous of the close friendship you have with her boyfriend and befriended you to get information. I think you should tell your best friend, because he deserves to know what his girlfriend does.
