Why religion is not religion with out the concept of perfect God ?

The word 'religion' simply means 'following rules'

It need have no concept of any god.

Only monotheism seems to have a concept of a single,perfect God. Many ancient religions consisted of pantheons,where several different gods had distinct personalities and flaws.

Consider the Greek gods-they often took human form and were capable of jealousy,rage and the petty behavior associated with such emotions,only with more disastrous results because of their

godly power.

There are plenty of religions without prefect gods. The Greek and Roman god's namely. Actually most religions don't worship perfect gods. I can't think of any outside of Christianity that believe in a perfect God.

Because if god isn't perfect, then the whole basis on the fact that God is the only being who is perfect and worthy of our praise makes it wrong. While I am not athiest, I believe there is something spiritual, I practice no form of religion because they are man made, and created out of fear of mans ultimate demise.

Define perfect?

Perfect is everything, good and bad. So God is perfect in his imperfections.

Why religious people won't accept this mind set yet? Because we all have a long way to go in terms of evolvement.

Buddhism doesn't have a god.
