Will my warranty cover the damages?

I bought a new dell xps 15z about a month ago and just the other day I open up the case to find that the corner of the computer is a little bent and the screen has streaks all over it. Im sorta pissed because I never dropped it and don't know how it possibly could have gotten damaged. Anyway, I want to get it fixed but I since it wasn't a factory malfunction, I don't think my dell warranty covers the damage. I didn't buy the special warranty that covers damages, the only one I have is the one that comes standard with all of their computers.

The ironic thing is that this isn't the first time I've had a problem with the screen. When I first bought the computer the screen went completely black just a few hours after purchase. I didn't even drop or damage the computer in any way, it was on my desk the whole time. So we knew that was a factory malfunction, we took it back and got a new one. I'm not sure if the problems are related, but still, that makes me think that the screens on these computers are a little weaker than average.

I know its a long shot, but is there any way I can get dell to fix the computer for free by complaining about the flimsiness of the screens?
