Signs from strange people?

The weirdest thing happened to me today, I was waiting for my bus, and some woman (she was like 30-40) came with her mom, and the woman sat next to me and told her mom to come as well, but then her mom went and sat on another bank. And the woman started whispering "terrible ..terrible .. just terrible!" and i was like okaaaaay. And then after a while her bus came (which was also my bus) and she was all "MOM THE BUS IS HERE!!" and then she looks at me and goes "And you, you take care of yourself alright?" and I was like ehm? ok? and she goes "Especially when it comes to boys and men and love, there's a lot of bad things out here" and I just looked at here like :/ what is going on?! and i was like "ehmmm why??" and she goes "that's my secret .. you just take care of yourself okay? I only mean this in a kind way" and I just said yeah and she said bye and walked in to the bus :/ . Call me psycho or something .. but is that supposed to be some kind of sign that something bad might happen to me? or that I should be careful about the guys I date or something? .. I don't get it .. and it's bothering me ..
