What if Messi played for Madrid and Ronaldo played for Barca...?

hmm i think ronaldo would preform better and messi would go down, only problem would be ronaldo's ego because he's playing with a team who have being together since a young age and some (Xavi, Iniesta) are nearly on par with him, could he accept that, while at Real he knows he is the best there...

Definetly mate, Ronaldo is a clinical finisher, and with the balls Iniesta and Xavi will give he'd be a monster, not that he isn't already. He'd most likely be deployed in the middle as a striker, he can cover the role samuel eto had with all his runs and excellent shooting. Messi.....he would end up being a desperate playmaker in madrid and not score as much, none the less, a great player. But with the midfield and teamwork barca have, i could net 20 goals a season (im joking) lol

Knowing how good the Barcelona mid fielders(Xavi and Iniesta) - he would definitely flourish scoring goals. No, he is good striker and does not matter which team he plays for. But his acting and attitudes are the things that get many fans irritated.

He has done well with Real Madrid even with good mid fielders and Real Madrid midfielders have supplied him plenty. Knowing Barcelona is so good, it is only will always comes to victories in El Clasico, so Ronaldo will win some and lose some. Same goes without saying with Messi.

If Messi played for Madrid he would still score lots of goals because Messi can dribble past any defense and would give great confidence to his playmakers. Messi makes Xavi and Iniesta look good

If C.Ronaldo played for Barcelona he would score lots of goals because he would get incredible through balls from Xavi and Iniesta. I don't know why people say Messi is nothing without Xavi and Iniesta. Sure, he didn't do well in the world cup but neither did C.Ronaldo and Messi has more assists than Xavi and Iniesta combined. If you don't believe me then google it.

I think both clubs would be worse with that change. Messi is just perfect for the type of football Barcelona plays. En Ronaldo is a player who needs space and is practically unbeatable if he gets it.

So, according to me, that change would:

- make Barca worse

- make Real worse

- prevent Ronaldo from exploiting his best qualities

- prevent Messi from exploiting his best qualities

BTW: Xavi & Iniesta are amazing, but so are Kaka, Ozil and Xabi Alonso. Just different kind of football.
