@ Wills....China has always supported Pakistan. China will never Allow US to get so much near China.
@ darren....Religion is not the point of discussion here. Its the strategic position of Pakistan. And in my opinion. China will not Allow US to takeover Pakistan and get a strong strategic position in Asia.

Actually... this is impossible, China is not sympathetic to Islam. Technically the government stance isn't sympathetic to any religion. Realistically The Chinese are mostly Buddhist... since the Taliban blew up thousand year old mountain carvings of Buddha... Most Chinese people would not support a war to protect Pakistan. Religions in China mostly Buddhist, Taoist, Confucius. Minorities are Christians and Muslims, Hindus.

The UN won't allow a US take over of Pakistan, Pakistan is still a sovereign nation. Also you mentioned "AL-Queda" China is not a Allied of Al-Queda, infact they consider them terrorists.

Why would China care about Pakistan? And even if it did, what would happen next is the US would abandon any thought it had of messing with Islamabad.

Um.. let's see, the US is fighting in Iraq, Iran, Libya, and Afghanistan. So are the British and the rest of NATO and UN forces. Dont forget about the North Korean conflict, and the Russians haven't went any where either. They are just getting hungrier and more treacherous. I think we already are in World War 3
