True, these questions are asked a lot. And for some, I think it's just they want attention. But...in general I think it's more of the fact that an outside opinion helps. True talking to a family member, or a good friend has its ups, but those opinions are always the same. They've heard them before, and know the argument, and in the end gets them no answer. So they come here, make it a bit more public, and see how an outsider can answer the situation. It helps clear the mind. Also, maybe it's an issue a friend warned them about, and they can't face them yet. *shrugs*

Lol.. I think people just want to feel heard. Just looking it up doesn't always fill that need. Everyone feels like their story is different. And it's nice just to have somebody tell you what they see is going on even if you know the awnser.

I'd guess that it's because they are so used to having their bums wiped by over protective mummies/daddies/governments, that they've lost the ability to make important life decisions for themselves.
