Evo shift vs epic ! Which is better?

I have the Evo HTC but am not happy with it. The batterylife sucks. And with such an expensive phone I think i should not have to turn off every single app. by hand or download anything that does it for me but is not working. The YOU TUBE app keeps freezing as well. Now my husband had the same phone and switched to the Samsung epic. We are still in our 30 days with sprint where i still can switch mine.

On my husbands epic everything works fine and the battery lasts all day with internet on all day.

Now i would like to switch too since i think for so much money spent i should be happy 100 %.

Now i have seen a couple reviews between evo shift and epic. the only downside on the shift is that you cant make video calls. which we testet already on evo htc and epic and we really dont use it that much anyway.

So now i am undecided and could use some personal experience from u guys. Thanks for your help in advance.
