Should I take the extra month?
My second child is due in June. I had been planning to take six months off, but that literally gets me back to work right before Christmas. Would you give up a month of money for an easier return? It's an evening job, so I get to be with the kids in the day anyway.

How good are you at managing your money? You do have a full six months to plan, so if you can budget appropriately I think it would make good sense. Or maybe take part of the month, and go back early January.

If you can afford it, take the time off. Also, better to tell them you are coming back in January and then come back early, than totell them you want another month off.

No you should just go back to work extra money would come in handy around christmas
