Can I use any oil when making lip gloss at home?
My daughter, in the 4th grade, is doing a science fair project on homemade lip gloss. (She's a girly girl!) I am unsure if I'll be able to find vitamin e oil, sunflower oil or coconut oil at our local stores. Would using olive oil or vegetable oil cause a bad mixture, taste or smell?

Hi,
Olive oil is great, sunflower seed oil has an odor. Use an oil with healthy oils. I have used vaseline in the past to mix certain colors.

a realistic ordinary lip gloss is honey. simply deliver a few in a tiny box to your bag. use it on ur lips from time to time. it no longer best offers a smooth appearence however doesnt style terrible and scents particularly satisfactory. however the minus is it has a tendency to get sticky and messy if smudged....h
