can anyone tell me how to work th xbox kinect on telling it to pause and other thngs please.?

i just got a kinect and I FOR THE LIFE OF ME DIDNT KNOW!

BUT luckily my girlfriend read somewhere in the fine print of a manual that to pause kinect games just step back, stand with both arms at your sides straight down, then with your left arm position at a 45 degree angle haha

I KNOW it's weird but it does work lol for me i'd rather just step off camera and it usually pauses or just reach for a controller

voice control does not work on pausing dvd or netflix no support yet netflix will coming in the spring. only voice commands is in zune marketplace,and espn. if u want to pause a game you can step out of view on the camera is the fastest way, another way to view friends and go to dashboard check messages, and go into kinect tuner all u have to do is put your right hand to your side and the left hand at a 45 degree angle and you should see that gesture appear on the left hand bottom of your screen, hold that position until you see the ring fill up and the kinect guide should appear.
