What is a good electric shaver/razor for men?
What is a good electric shaver/razor for men?
My boyfriend has two, and I have a picture of them. But for Christmas I want to get him a better one, and I am willing to spend some money to get a nice one. The problem is I know absolutely nothing about them. He said the brand he likes is something like Wahl, but i dont think the brand matters as long as its a really nice one. Please help.
NOTE: The pictures are of the razors HE ALREADY HAS.
OMG I said ELECTRIC. PLEASE READ THE WHOLE QUESTION
I have posted this question like 5 times and so far have got no decent response. No one even bothers to actually read the question

A good razor is not cheap, at least what I call cheap. I have only used a few different ones. II have a Braun I bought for, say, $110 about 14 years ago. I can't believe the rechargeable battery is still good, along with the
Shaver. Personally, I would stick with a Braun. I think they go from about $100 to $250.
shaver.

The Wahl is a clipper, the shaver is the Remington. In my experience the Norelco Rotary is better and more comfortable than the Remington microscreen, I've used both and have been satisfied with the results of both, but the Norelco does the better job and, after you adjust to it, is much more comfortable to use.
I haven't encountered a Wahl shaver, this one on their website might be what he wants, it's a Wahl which uses the microscreen system like the one he is presently using:

[The site also has a special shaver for men of African or Meditteranean descent with shaving bump issues]

My spouse easily prefers my razor. i take advantage of the Gillette Fusion AND while she observed that some women easily want a mans razor she then began utilising my electric one too. She mentioned she keeps up with a internet site which I positioned as my source.

Hi my name is Pedro and I work for Gillette. Braun is one of our other brands and I thought you might want to have a look at this model. http://www.braun.com/us/shavers/series-3.html The advantages are that it's tough on hair, which means he can grow a bit of stubble, and it will still give a good clean shave. It also comes with a cleaning station, which makes it easy to keep it clean daily. The foils have been developed to be gentle towards the skin. I hope this helps.

I've had a top of the line Braun 8000 series (8595) for about 6+ years. It just started to fail recently - I didn't feel like trying another replacement foil/blade and after over 2,000 shaves - I guess it's hard to complain. If this new one lasts the same duration, then it will be well worth the money for just over $0.12 per day plus consumables (cleaning solution & replacement foils).
I opened this new shaver morning (790-CC4), charged it, and started using it. I like the variable setting (3-steps) for mild to intense. I like the feel of it and although the display is less sophisticated than my old one, this one might be more practical in usage. It has a Li-Ion battery and so is a bit lighter, and seems well-constructed.
The real test is the shave - and this is the best result I've ever had from shaving with an electric. On rare occasions I'll use a blade for a special occasion and a blade is usually much closer than most electrics - but I've been okay with a slight sacrifice using an electric in the past. My face right now feels so shockingly smooth, I'd swear I shaved with a blade this morning... So the proof is in the pudding - and I'd wholeheartedly recommend this shaver if you're partial to electrics
