Yankees move Jeter to 3B, Rodriguez to SS?

Just because "Cal did" doesn't mean anyone else can - including Jeter.

A-Rod can't play third after his hip injuries, neither one of them is an above average option at SS at this point in their career. It would be more likely to see them move Jeter to 3b and A-Rod to left and pursue a stopgap SS than putting A-Rod back at short. Jeter will be there next year though unless they just can't work out a deal.

Keep Jeter at short, they are both very fluid infielders but Jeter has alot more range up the middle which seperates the two. Both of them are capable of playing either position so I would just keep things the same I mean the yankees don't have much to worry about defensively in their infield anyways.

ARod can't play SS anymore. He has put on weight and muscle to try to hit HRs. Besides Jeter thinks that he can play SS until he is 50 and won't even address the issue of his declining play.

idk...I think Jeter is better @ SS position than A-Rod to be honest. A-Rod seemed to get sort of lazy, and not as athletic over the years to me....Jeter is still capable of bigger plays in that position so i'd like to see Arod at 3rd instead

i do no longer think of you may flow the two of them! Jeter has perhaps a 365 days or 2 left until eventually now you may desire to flow him to the outfield. A-Roid is purely no longer a variety of of an improve defesively at short so he can stay at third. shifting Jeter ( Mr. Ford area!) to eight or 9 interior the lineup won't ensue even though it is going to. the extra valuable question to invite although is, now that he's a unfastened agent, how plenty do you pay him?

derek jeter isnt a very good 3rd basemen in my mind alex rodrigues should not go back to ss he is amazing at 3b and derek jeter is amazing at ss leave em where they are

Rodriguez is not going back to SS.

Why?

They both did fine at there positions this year.

Why screw up a good thing?
