Spot the mistake...translation into english - who can help?

I would like to talk about that little story tomorrow but I only know a German version of it. I tried to translate it into english but because I am not a native speaker I do not know whether this is all right. It would be very helpful if you just read it and tell me about the mistakes I did.

Two unborn twins are talking in the omb of her mother:

"Do you believe in life after birth?"

"Sure I do. I think we are growing and becoming stronger to be able to face the world after birth."

"I think that is nonsense. There can't be life after birth. How should that work?"

"I am not quite sure but I imagne it as very bright. And maybe we will be able to walk around and eat with our own mouth."

"I've never heard such a rubbish. Eating with the mouth! And what do you think we have an umbilical cord for? And talking about an umbilical cord: You just CAN'T walk around. It is much too short!"

"I am sure it is possible. Everything will be a bit different, but we will handle it somehow and discover new opportunities we would never even think of now"

"You are crazy! Nobody ever came back "after birth". And that's because there is nothing. Life ends with the birth. That's how it is!"

"You are right - nobody knows how life will be after birth but I KNOW that we will see our mum. And she will care for us."

"Our mum??? Do you believe in a mum as well? That si even worse than I thought it was. Where on earth shall she be? Could you explain that to me?"

"Everywhere. Everywhere around us. We live in her and through her. We couldn't be without her."

"Nonsense" I've never ever recognized a mum. She doesn't exists!"

"I have. Sometimes - when we are really quiet you can hear her sing and you can feel how she fondles our world."

I think the original story was written by Henry Nouwen.

"You are crazy! Nobody ever comes back "after birth". That's because there is nothing. Life ends after birth. That's just the way it is!"

"You are right - nobody knows how life will be after birth but I KNOW that we will see our mum. And she will care for us."

"Our mum??? Do you believe in a mum too? This is even worse than I thought. Where on earth shall she be? Could you explain that to me?"

"Nonsense! I've never recognized a mum. She doesn't exist!"

"I have. Sometimes - when we are really quiet you can hear her sing and you can feel how she looks after our world."
