Is a purple and orange bedroom too much?

Well it looks as if you have a good enough sized room so..no I don't think it is too overwhelming.

This is so weird! My room looks like it did when I was a baby actually. I'm in middle school also! And I want my walls painted orange and dark purple too! Hahah, they're my two favorite colors. What I was thinking is the walls with windows I would paint dark purple so the wall isn't so bright to look at that it hurts your eyes like looking at snow in the morning. Then the darker walls that do not have windows would be the orange to make them more appealing. I was going to do two dark purple and two orange though. The furniture I'm going to have will be matching the walls but you can do whatever you want. I find it cool that us two middler schoolers want like almost the same walls. That's cool :) But yeah, I would say go with whatever colors you think are best. Those colors aren't to much to me. When your friends go into your room they'll be all like "Wow!" It's fun to be different from other people. Especially when you have your dream room all the same time. I'll be getting my walls and furniture next month :) I hope we both have fun creating our dream rooms :D

i think its too much, and you might regret it in the future.

why dont you just do 1 or 2 walls dark purple the rest light lavender, and if you still want the orange you can get orange furniture, its much easier to buy a new bedspread when you get sick of the colors than to repaint the whole room

If it's something you feel you will like then go for it. It is only the walls of your room and it is your space. You can always repaint it. Just make sure that is how you want it for that may be what you are stuck with for some time.

I think you should do it Purple and lime green but orange's cool. i think lime green would look better though.
