B. Been rejected as their boyfriend or girlfriend, but still remain good friends into the future.

flings are just flings. you guys can have really really strong feelings or not which sucks about flings. plus, if it ended badly you never talk to the other person anymore.
sure...you're being rejected as being their girlfriend or boyfriend but at least that'd be easier to move on from. plus, you get the benefit of still being friends.
