Are there more gay men or lesbian women?

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that sexual preferences are of equal percentages in both sexes. Statistics in this field are unreliable, because of social stigmas, many are inclined to lie either to themselves or to others.

If our culture became totally accepting of each persons individual sexual preference overnight, I bet tomorrow, we'd find that there are a lot more homosexuals than anyone ever suspected, and there would be the same percentage of men and women who identify as gay or lesbian.

Seems like there are more gay men. Genetics? Male and female homosexuality are 2 separate things. Most likely male is passed on through the mother's fertility. Nobody knows about females but I'd guess it's passed through their fathers.
