How do I copy Dvd's to my Hard Drive?

if you use daemon tools you can play the dvd off the hard drive, i ncluding game dvd's that needs the dvd in to play.

you use daemon tools to play a cd or dvd on your computer without using a cd rom. This is ideal for small laptops that have external usb cd roms.

1. Right click the daemon tools icon in the systray to bring up the context menu.

Create an image of the cd by placing the cd in the rom and selecting a folder usually named the same as the cd to store it in.

2 in the same context menu create a virtual drive. You will find this in My Computer and it looks like a CD Rom drive. If you have a cd drive already, then now it looks like you have two.

3 In the same context menu you select mount drive and browse to the cd image and mount it. This is the virtual representation as putting a cd in the cd rom.

If its the first time the cd has been mounted, it will auto play and probably put an icon on your desktop, and install stuff on your computer like games do.

Later if you hit the Game Icon on your desktop it will say put cd in the cd player. This means to use daemon tools to mount it.

If you want to do another you can create 4 virtual drives and leave them permanently mounted, or you can dis mount them so the virtual drive is empty, then mount another cd to play.

the key to this is to always create a separate new folder named the same as the dvd/cd you are imaging, so that you can find them.

You can select the file which are in DVD’s and copy them then paste them into HDD. There is no software is required.

put the DVD in to your DVD drive (DVD ROM), and go to my computer and right click on the DVD and select open. You will see two files called "AUDIO TS" and "VIDEO TS", copy only the "VIDEO TS" to your hard drive and rename it to the respective movie name. (no need to copy the "AUDIO TS" file as it doesnt contain anything. Looking at legal terms, i think its illegal to copy / publish etc the meaterial which have been copyrighted (see the DVD cover or the DVD for this infor). But almost everybody dioes it. :)
