In soccar, are they allowed to hold their opponant? Could the blockers of a kick lift their guy up to block l?

They aren't allowed to hold the opponent and should be a yellow card if caught especially in the box but most refs overlook it.

I guess they could as long as the guy doesn't use his hands to block it. I just don't think any one would want to block one of those balls like that. It would hurt.

And I agree. There are many soccer players that act like they got hurt when they really didn't and as a huge fan of soccer and a long time player, it makes me sad that they have to do that. If they can't win through their talent they shouldn't be playing.
