Absolutely, water fowl will typically always have more cholesterol and saturated fats than terrestrial birds.

Other than that duck eggs are probably more extreme versions of free range chicken eggs... don't really know. I've had quail egg (raw) and its incredibly rich - I'd expect duck eggs to be similar. Stronger tasting, and probably more nutritious than standard over the counter farm raised eggs. And the obvious - one contains a duck, the other a chicken... Did some research, and this is more complex than I'd expected... Big difference just between free range chicken and enclosed breeders... -dh

Yes, a duck egg has more cholesterol than a chicken egg. Duck= 884mg, and chicken= 425mg. Here is a link to a duck egg vs. chicken egg nutrition chart...
