exel.service@yahoo.com is the place where you will have answers to all this questions. They are specialized in VIP travel so I think that you just ask them.

    Congratulations !

You should really go to a travel agent for this. They work for free because some tour operators (like Sunquest) pays commission. They help so much with finding good deals and should also know of some good resorts to recommend. No one here can honestly tell you which is the best because we haven't had experience with all of them.

I did like the Riu Mambo a lot. It was fairly cheap and has one of the higher percentage of recommendations on trip advisor. It also is attached to the Riu Merengue and Riu Bachata. You can hang out at THREE resorts and pay for just one! The only thing is you must eat dinner at your own resort. All the resorts were connected by a pathway. You don't even need to leave a resort to get to the sister resorts!

They also have Animation teams, which is basically a bunch of silly entertainers that organize activities and make guests laugh. I loved them.

The Mambo had the best stretch of beach out of the three. It's not as gorgeous as others might be, but it's good. You can also do a bunch of water sports for free.

The Merengue definitely isn't as good as the Mambo or Bachata. Everything about it was just average.

The Bachata has the nicest pool (it's the newest, so it has a swim-up bar) and is a bit more elegant. It's just a bit fancier I guess, so it costs more. But you could stay at one of the other resorts and then chill by the pool at the Bachata!

The staff at the Mambo were amazing (not sure about the other two!). They were all super friendly and helped us out (quite happily) with anything we asked! And trust me, we asked for a lot.

By the way, all three resorts are bungalow style. It's not like one giant hotel, it's a bunch of colourful little bungalows.

I agree with notyurx; definitely check out Dreams La Romana! It’s an amazing all-inclusive resort in the Bayahibe area of the DR.

The resort has two gorgeous pools, a full-service spa, seven gourmet restaurants and tons of activities like snorkeling and water sports. There’s even a casino with table games and slots!

Dreams also offers pretty incredible honeymoon packages with lots of romantic extras like a champagne breakfast in bed and a couples massage. The resort staff always goes out of their way to pamper you; it's the best!

I hope you look into Dreams; you won’t be disappointed! Good luck!

We have been going to Dreams, La Romana for over 7 years. A couple years ago it was purchased by the Dreams company and they upgraded. Wonderful staff, lovely rooms, and all inclusive for great prices. book through www.cheapcaribbeanvacations.com for the very best rates on airfare and hotel combined. You will really love it.
