You ever sneak out as a child?

Yes, but it's not very interesting. One summer, during our teen years, my sister and I were too hot in our room upstairs. How we managed to sneak down the creaky stairs I'll never know, but we did and went out in the front for some cool air. We walked down about a block in the dark. When we saw some car headlights coming down the street, we got scared and tore home. That's it.

When this same sister and I were visiting relatives in the country another summer we did the same thing. We happened to be sleeping on cots in the living room. We couldn't sleep so we sneaked out and walked up the road. But, as we were city girls, we were not used the utter, pitch-black darkness of the country. We couldn't see our hands in front of our faces it was so dark. We were forced to go back in the house. There's nothing awake at night but the bugs in a hick town in farm country!

Not very exciting, but nice memories of my sister.

No but I wanted to a lot. I threatened too a lot as well.

i considered it a few times, but i never actually did. maybe i was a good kid, but mostly i didn't know where to go.
