Why do so many girls strive for tiny feet?

Who knows, i know a few girls who are like "Omg i have man feet!" & they're like...size 5. I'm size 9 & i have no problem with my feet, it pisses me off.

I think anything below a 6 is too small, but thats just me.

Years (like, CENTURIES) ago in countries like China, tiny feet were considered very sexy and you were a terrible wife/mother to NOT have teeny tiny feet. Just one of those cultural things, I suppose.

It also seems to be that, the smaller the foot, the cuter the shoe (I wear size 12 and a lot of shoes in my size look terrible and aren't comfortable T_T ) so that could be what the girl(s) you're thinking of are striving for. It's also possible they think guys like girls with small feet. I don't really think about it, personally. lol

well it started in china when women use to start binding a girls feet at like ages 3-4 to make their feet smaller, it was a very painful process and some girls had to be carried around as they got older cuz they literally could not walk from the pain, i am a size 9 and i am glad, because i am almost 5'9" and if my feet were any smaller i would fall over because your feet are the base of your entire body.

Because tiny feet is what all true warriors strive fooooor!

Answer: I don't think they have a choice... foot size is nothing to strive for, they just grow naturally.

PS. If you're talking about guy's feet in link to the foot-to-penis myth, it's because they're young and have never had anything bigger... so they play it safe.

Fairytales reinforce many of these misogynistic (woman-hating) practices. Cinderella and her stepsisters try on the glass slippers so the Prince can pick the one whose foot fits the petite pair...I personally love the feet of Marilyn Monroe, and my sisters little bubble-gum toes. But poor Paris Hilton has feet like a pro basketball player...and she's still "hot".
