how much will a sleeve tattoo hurt?

Getting a tattoo feels a bit like being stung by bees or wasps - if you have a high pain threshold, as you say, and are intent on getting it, the pain will most likely just fade to a minor annoyance as the work gets done. Honestly, it really won't hurt that badly - I have a fairly low pain tolerance, and I've sat through numerous tattoo sessions without much of a problem.

Your ribs are going to hurt like a mofo, though - ribs and hands are generally considered to be the most painful places to get tattooed because of the very thin layer of skin separating needle from bone.

For me the inner wrist was uncomfortable, where it came up over the shoulder & the pit were kind of painful, and the elbow area down right hurt.

It's all totally worth it though, and it only hurts while they're working in that area. Once the move on it's fine.

The wrist area hurts a hell of a lot, since the skin there is thinner and the nerves are closer to the skin. But the rest of the arm becomes fatter/muscular as it moves towards the shoulders, so that bit shouldn't be too sore :)

Im sleeved on both arms It only hurts if your getting alot of Outline on the inside of your arm but the shading is painless ...
