  • Help me with an ending?

    Friends and comrades -

I have been stricken with that painful and debilitating disease known as writer's block. I have no idea how to end a story I've started, so of all places I've decided to turn to Yahoo! for help.

In order to prevent you from stealing my idea, and me from stealing too much from you, I'm going to present this very vaguely. In a nutshell, my story is about a man who becomes obsessed with a woman he has never met. He spends all of his time searching for information about her but nobody else seems to be able to help him.

So how do I end it? Does he meet her? Does he go insane and kill himself? Does he move on to a different obsession? What do you think?

Thanks in advance for your help. You're beautiful people.

  • How to convert complex numbers from geometric to polar form?

My ECE for the week involves converting complex numbers from their geometric to polar form. I've tried speaking to my TA as well as checking out a few 'help' websites, but I just don't understand it. I'm not going to copy down my assignment here because I do genuinely want to understand, so I'm just going to post the first question. First person to answer correctly and explain to me how they arrived at that answer gets the points.

    1. Convert the following into polar form; write the angle first in radians, then in degrees.

    a. 1+j1

    b. 3+j4

    c. (2+j1)/(3+j2) d. 1+j√3

  • Where in Bath can I receive money via wire transfer?

Through a long, complicated, and altogether unfortunate series of events, this past weekend has left me without cash and in dire need of it. My mother, who lives in New York, has kindly volunteered to lend me money via wire transfer. I live in Bath Spa, and have no idea where she might be able to direct the money. If anyone knows where I can go to receive the cash, a speedy answer would be greatly appreciated.
