Yes it's normal, your just learning to drive a stick right? Your releasing the clutch a little slow. You'll get the hang of it. Your leg is shaking because it's not used to holding it in that position, you should not be in gear or keeping your foot on the clutch while at a stop light not even resting it there any pressure on the clutch can cause the pressure plate to touch the flywheel, this is normal when you press the clutch down to change gears you can cause these to main components of a manual transmission to wear out more quickly resulting in a price repair.

I've been there and done that. I touch myself to drive a stick, I just touch my daughter too, She stalled about 15 times in about an hour and a half. I had to get my boyfriend to take over because I lost my patients with her LOL. She drives like a pro now, it's been almost a year now.

It wont take long to get the hang of it and drive a stick like a race car driver. Always remember to wear your seat belt and make sure your passengers do too.

Since keeping the clutch part of the way down takes a bit of firm pressure, and your foot kept it there, it was your muscles losing control of that situation that was a mixture of fine and gross motor control.

If you strengthen your leg, or simply drive manual more often, you'll get used to the problem, and it will probably just go away.

Also, make sure to keep the pedal all the way down unless you are in the process of taking it off.

It's happens to me also because I get nervous but I eventually got over it and the shaking has stopped. Just relax :-)

when u move your leg joint at a certain angle it starts juttering try changing your leg position

Maybe its b/c you were just nervous
