Jury Summons letter in the mail?
I got a jury summons in the mail the other day.
I called and the lady told me my date but said it so quick and jumped onto another subject.
I told her I get bad anxiety when I am around a large group of people and she said I need a doctores note in order to be excused but I dont have money to go to the doctores and I am realy paniced.
If I go to the doctore and say I panic and start to shake and it gets hard to breath when I am around a large group of people what will happen? He will test me or just give me a note or what.
How do I do this.
I realy cant go.
I panic.

The first time is always hard going to jury duty. If you do not have the chance to go to the doctor please don't ignore jury duty because they will keep summoning you no matter what. I was called many times for jury duty and I went. It is not all that bad, and for all of them I was not picked. When you go there, basically they will ask you very very simple questions. If the case deals with car accidents then they will ask have you ever been in car accidents? It is not all that bad believe me. Do you think everyone in a group has anxiety? They to have anxiety and some do not want to go there as well. Be strong and do not worry, believe me it won't be that bad. If they see you panic, believe me they will not be hard on you :-)

There is no way to ignore a jury summons without being arrested. You just have to do your civic duty, no matter how inconvenient it is.
