Are you implying that the earth has gone off of its axis? The Chile earthquake has SHIFTED the earth's axis, but this happens every time a major natural disaster occurs, like the 9.1 Sumatran earthquake in 2004. So in other words, really nothing will happen because the earth has not gone "off its axies"

We need to install some kind of axis damper. Maybe if we built a tower 1000km high at each of the poles, with 10 gigatons of lead mounted to the top we could fix this problem before earth develops a violent oscillation.

It's too urgent to spend any time researching or explaining why this won't work or is not feasible, lets just do it now, no ifs, no buts, just action. All we need is faith and money, lots and lots of money.
