First: "Doomsday 2012" is not true. You really think they can predict when the world will end down to the exact date?
Second: The number of earthquakes we've had recently is actually normal, although we've heard about them more than we normally would because they've happened in more populated places, that's all.
Third: Did you know earthquakes have been happening for the past 3,000,000,000 years, and there are over 1,000,000 earthquakes every year, but we do not hear about them because the media does not tell us, but Earth is still here.
And last but not least: The world is not going to end in mine or your life time. It will end when the Sun turns itself into a giant red ball, which will happen in another 4,500,000,000 years.
Enjoy your life.

Personally i think it's a load of crap, remember when everyone thoght the world was going to end in 2000? it didn't. People are strange in the fact that they are always looking to predict the end, people love drama. Yes the Mayan calandar stopped at the year 2012 but who's to say that means it's the end of the world? Besides, if you believe in God than this should comfort you. It says in the bible that nobody will know when the world will end....im assuming that includes the mayans lol

Every generation believes it will be the last to walk the earth at some point. People have come up with different end world signs for thousands of years.
As for God, if you believe in Him you should know that He always acts in His own time, never ours. So a human calandar reading 2012 really doesn't set a lot of store for an all knowing God.

YES 2012 is coming.
i think you're referring to the apocalypse though. No, it won't happen.
Just because some poor Aztec calendar-maker didn't make a never-ending calendar, we choose to believe that the world will end because the calendar will end?
Seriously. It's all a bunch of bullsh*t. People thought the world was going to end in 2000 as well, but here we are.

Don't be scared. It may come but it may not. People have been saying it is gonna end the world for many years. I am worried because i am still young and most my family are apart. But just live your life to the fullest and don't be worried. Just don't think anything about it.

seriously, don't worry about it. we have earthquakes every year. the only reason we're hearing about these is because the media makes a TON of money off of covering natural disasters. there is no science based behind the whole 2012 theory. plus think about it, the mayan calendar is what, hundreds of years old? do you seriously think some ancient civilization would know more than us, when we have airplanes, space shuttles, etc.?

It appears that if one fallows the traditional laws of modern numerics, 2010 is in fact a preceding number to 2012.

Well this is a very strange topic in the fact that there are many signs of this event occuring. Not only did Nostradamus predict it (He was the dude who predicted 9/11), but this was an ancient Mayan prophecy that was set forth for 12.21.12. So on the side of ancient wisdom it is kind of realistic, but on the scientific side, it is a little different. See, things happen on the random splitting and breaking of atoms, which involves probability. So, quite honestly, it is impossible to tell until the day REALLY gets here.

2012 was proven false when they put the calender in greenich mean time.
The earthquakes are caused by tectonic plates rubbing, when one goes another buckles under and causes more earthquakes
