The terminal voltage of a certain battery is measured with the battery disconnected and is found to be 5.64 V. The internal resistance of the battery is 1.07 Ω. Find the voltage across the battery terminals when there is a current of 2.06 A from the negative to the positive terminal.

Where,
E = terminal voltage without load
R = load in ohm
r = internal resistance
i = current with load R
=>5.64 = 2.06 x 1.07 + i x R
=>i x R = 5.64 - 2.20 = 3.44
=>V = 3.44 Volt [by V = iR]

2.06 * 1.07

Subtract that from 5.46 to get the net voltage across the battery terminals.
