how should a teen dress?

Very cool, we sound like we have a similar type of style. I'll try to give you some ideas. You can wear a high waisted skirt, with tights and flats or boots. It looks very cute with a nice cardigan thrown over top. Do you go to thrift/consignment shops? They are really fun, and usually not too expensive, I get tons of inspiration from there. You can find cool things that no one else has! I got a blazer for $4! Do you like skinny jeans or leggings? Wear a pair of jeans or leggings with anover sizedd sweater or sweatshirt, look cool with most types of shoes, add some cool accessories, a long necklace, a scarf, a cocktail ring etc. Accessories can really revitalize your wardrobe and not cost you a ton of money. I recently discovered cocktail rings, wich are just oversized costume jewelery type rings, and hairclips! All kinds of hairclips, I like bows but pick ones you like! I hope this helps!

Well I'm almost twenty but I've been flipping through tons of styles, currently just going with the leggings, long club-style shirt and necklaces.

I mean there are so many things to wear. I've always said screw trendy things, unless you like them and will continue to wear them, they just end up being a waste of space. I wear a alot of the same clothes (shirts) that I owned when I was 14 or so. When I first got into a really gothic style, simply because it can be so sexy.

My favourite looks?

Little Black Dress and stiletto, knee-high boots

Like I said, leggings, long club-style shirt, with knee-high stilettos (again, haha, love them)

Marilyn Monroe style dresses with little white shrug and (of course) knee-high stiletto boots

It really just depends what you're comfortable in, do you prefer wearing flats? then leg warmers and leggings will probably jive nicely with that. Strappy sandals? skinny jeans work very well with that. High heeled boots? Everything works with that. haha.

Do you like leggings and dresses? there's an entire stlye.

Do you like to accesorize? well then dress to suit your jewelry.

Honestly the best thing to do is to go to a second hand store around you. Look through everything that you would never wear and go with some friends who you KNOW are honest. Grab everything you think is ugly or different, that looks like it's your size and just try it out. I did it once and bought almost half the stuff I tried on, it was almost.

Also, if the store has roaches lying around, I won't be idiotic enough to buy something where there have been roaches near it. 3. What would you do if your class went on a field trip and they all fell into a giant vat of honey except for you. They all mutated into giant bees including your teacher. For now on you have to go to class with all of them. What do you do? A: Not go to school anymore, and cry because I miss my friends orginal self, and try to find a way to put them back to normal 4. Would you rather dress up in a ketchup costume then come up to random people eating fries in the mall food court and ask if they need some ketchup, or put a pillow under your belly so that you look really fat, then outrun all the skinny people at the gym on treadmills? A: Second option

Leggings a skirt converse Oh and fancy glasses that people dont really need but wear for fun thats (i've noticed) is in style

Bremuta plaid shorts with a matching shirt

Somewhat baggy sweat pants and tight t-shirt or a tank and our hair pulled up in a messy ponytail

Tight jeans Areopostale, American Eagle shirt and a hoodie or a tank top

Cowgirl boots with shorts or a skirt and a cute tank or tee (its really cute if you want to try a country style)

the biggest problem with teens is they dress how the media and their peers tell them they should dress. you should dress however you like. don't be fooled into thinking you have to buy designer clothes to be dressed cute or to have nice clothes. it's a waste of money and over half the designer stuff is ugly. if it's cute, you can find something that looks just like it for hundreds of dollars cheaper. if you like it, wear it. if you don't like showing your legs, wear leggings under them, or you can get a spray on tan if you don't like leggings. just do what you think is best. since you like those styles, i can suggest places that have them

they have lots of kinda rockish bohemian stuff and their clothes are really really cheap. like i got a tanktop for 2 dollars and a dress for 12 dollars!! the only problem is some of their stuff can b kind of trashy...but just be selective

Just experiment. Find different pieces that you like (which may or may not be outside of your current interests), and pair them with other things that you like. After a while, you may develop a different style. It's all about growing and changing and learning what you like.

I'd say, as long as you aren't showing too much skin, you're fine.

I'm a guy, so this is kind of awkward, but skirts and leggings rock, especially when the skirt is plaid. I'd say a blackish-grayish plaid skirt with gray leggings is cool.
