What are advantages or disadvantages of using masters degree honorifics in the contact heading of a resume?
Ph.D., M.D., and J.D. are commonly used in resumes, but what about masters degrees like M.S.W.?
Some people think it's pretentious. Other people believe it's an acceptable way of showing the results of hard work. What do you think? What are the pros and cons of using masters degree honorifics in resumes?
I'm particularly interested in hearing from people in the human resources field, or those people who are or have been in a position to hire someone after looking at many resumes.

use your degree first.to get on the job.then later use your master degree to move up.it's and old trick.people will think your to smart for the job.if you use a master degree.when you first walk in the door.but if the position ask for it.for that job to get it the job.it's ok to pull it out.
