Will this make it harder for me to learn Russian? What would be the easiest way to learn Russian?
I am teaching myself German. I'm okay with it, I'm a little past the "basic" point. Like I'm not still learning "Hello", "Goodbye", and blah, but I'm still not in the "advanced" courses yet.
I really want to learn Russian as well. Rosseta Stone is WAY to over priced. (I've had a chance before to use it for German for awhile.) And I know I probably won't have much luck only teaching myself. So do you have any suggestions? I use livemocha.com sometimes but Iit's not all that great.
So my questions are:
1. With me learning German, will it be harder for me to learn Russian.
2. How can I learn Russian, fast, for free?
3. Or do you think I should look into classes for learning Russian in my city? (Would group or private classes work best?)
4. Or what else? Like if you speak Russian, how did you do it? Or have you heard of any really good language programs?
PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!! =) ^_^

oooo i'm learning it now and it's really hard
1 Russian is way harder than German it's not even the same alphabet or like they call it alphaveet
2 To learn Russian fast you have to start with the alphabet and practice every day try to write a lot of stuff so you can write easily
3 Private classes are the best that way you can progress easliy in Group it's just not that great too much time lost
4 For the languages programs I think the best is to watch the videos on youtube you find really good stuff beter than the programs and it's FREE

I talk German, English and Spanish and I located Russian to be enormously intricate. They have an extra Alphabet however that is the least of your issues. What I located to be very difficult was once the truth that there's even much less correlation among the way in which phrases are written and said than in English and that language is already a bloody nightmare. Also there are rarely any phrases which might be acquainted whilst you recognise English and German (I have no idea Danish however I talk a few Swedish so my bet is that that would possibly not aid you a nice deal both). I recognise this sounds discouraging however you desired to listen to an opinion on how intricate it's. Of direction you could uncover it easier. After all we are all one-of-a-kind. I desire this was once handy to you.

There is no fast, easy way to learn Russian. It is a very difficult language (see my post here:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Amw.L... You'll probably want to take classes, since they're structured for beginners with no exposure. This will also connect you to the Russian-speaking community, and you will probably be able to find a Russian table (people who meet regularly and speak Russian, usually very open to new comers and beginners) and other various resources to help learn the language. Make friends with Russians.
In general, people seem to have a more difficult time learning two languages at once than one at a time. I imagine this would be even more difficult if you're doing it in your own time and not in a classroom setting. That said, it's not impossible.
