ich möchte das deutsche Zitat: "Man muss das Beste hoffen, das Schlimme kommt von selbst" auf Englisch sagen. Kann mir da jemand helfen?
ich dachte an etwas wie: "You have to hope for the best, the worst comes itself" 
ist das falsch? bitte verbessern!

"Hoping the best, the worst comes all by itself" Ist grammatikalisch inkorrekt. Um es auf Deutsch rückzuübersetzen: "Auf das Beste hoffend wird das Schlechteste von selbst kommen"

Ich würde dir
"Hope for the best, the bad will happen by itself" empfehlen.

Wenn du es schon so Ã¼bersetzen willst, dann aber "the worst comes all by itself", ansonsten heiÃt es "das Schlechte kommt in eigener Person"
Allerdings wÃ¼rde ich das insgesamt anders formulieren, z.B. "You have to hope for the best because bad things need no invitation" oder "You have to hope for the best because bad things happen by themselves"

Es gibt den Spruch (in mehreren Varianten):
Planning makes good things happen; bad things happen by themselves. 
good things happen on purpose, bad things happen by themselves.”


Oder sehr, sehr frei: Hope for the best, expect the worst.

Man kÃ¶nnte auch sagen: ..., the worst comes automatically.

"One must hope for the best, the worst of it comes by itself"
