how can i get rid of weed trees?

i live in Riverside Ca and i have weed trees . the previous  tenants didnt care much about the yard so they grew into large trees . i cut them down but still have the stems and i tryed to dig them out but the roots are to deep and im not strong enough. whats the best way to get rid of them since they keep growing back?

Cut them off at ground level, then treat the stumps with Tordon. Be careful to follow all directions on the label. Tordon can be hazardous if misused.

How big is the trunk at the base? If its big enough than you can drive a copper nail through the trunk. The copper oxidises and kills the tree from that level on. Once down, slam the nail into the top. Try different things. It will take a while for the nail to oxidise, but it  should work. Plus its opening the tree up to disease and insect. If one of those three options don't kill that thing...it deserves to live...lol. Good luck.

Mix weed killer and round-up at the rates specified. Yes, You can mix the two together safely. Spray the leaves until dripping. You will see results  in 24 hours. If drifting is an issue dip a Q-Tip in water, then in this solution and brush the leaf.

there is a product called root rot apply as directed. or take a box of epson salt pour on stump and cover with flat rock or a cap block and let it rot.
