In spite of revisionists attempts to rewrite history, America was founded on principles that were based on a belief in God.
However America, just as ancient Israel did, has slowly turned its back on God in the name of tolerance, political correctness and secularism. It was never the founding fathers' intention to set up a national religion, but it was also never their intention to ban God from schools, public property and government buildings.
God does exist. And just like Israel, He is letting us reap the rewards of our rejection of Him. You can expect things to get worse.
