strapless bra that holds up a d cup?

I, too, am a D cup. (34D, to be exact) So I understand your frustration.

Hopefully you have a certain use in mind for the wear of a strapless bra?

I've found that (from major retailers) Victoria's Secret is good. They have a wide variety and, if you have a store near you, you can always try on their bras before you buy - just to make sure.

Fredrick's of Hollywood is another good place to find bras. If you don't have any skin showing beneath the bra-line (Example, a deeeeeeply cut neckline or a low backline), then you can always get a corset of sorts. Those are VERY good when it comes to support if you find the right kind.

Both stores offer sexiness in sofisticated and in naughty ways. Either way, remember that support comes from the BACK of a bra, from the band, and not from the straps. If you support yourself from the straps, then eventually you'll begin to travel south and you will be more susceptible to "Backfat" - no matter what your weight is.

I'm afraid that once you get to a certain "size", gravity begins to "kick in" - & anything less supportive than steel & iron re-bar is NOT going to be able to do the job very well... I hear "Wacoal" Bras are pretty good... -but their also pretty "pricey"... Check out Those & see what you think...
