I have a GE Nautilus Dishwasher that was "winterized" before I purchased my condo now...?

It won't fill with water. I ran about 1/2 a cycle before I realized that I didn't have the water valve turned on. I turned it on and restarted the the dishwasher. Now a very small amount of water is going into the bottom. The machine sounds like it is making all the proper noises save for water going into it.

My GF mentioned that it had been "winterized" (whatever that means) and I was wondering 1: how does 1 de-winterize a dishwasher and 2: assuming it wasn't that does anyone have any ideas on the water issue. I.E. how do I get my dishwasher to fill up.

    Get a suicide cord and apply 120 to that valve to see if mechaniaclly it is sound

    Winterized probably means they shut off the water and drained the dishwasher. Make sure you turned the water on all the way. If it still does not fill uncouple the water connection and make sure water is available for the machine. If it still does not fill and it has water, then the solenoid valve for the water is not working properly and should be replaced. Good Luck
