Did anyone see Paranormal Activity and did you find it scary?

Man you couldn't be more correct. This is waaaaaaaaaaaayyyy overrated and is the farthest thing from being the scariest movie.

It got so mind numbingly boring watching the exact same camera angle with only minor variations on what happened next. I groaned every time it went to that notorious angle that will be engraved in your mind permanently.

The male character is extremely unrealistic instead of him saying "Holy ****, a ghost in the house! Let's get the hell out of here!" he is like "Hmmm doors close by themselves, my girlfriend is getting injured, I could die... How about stay for the rest of the month?" What? Does he want to challenge the demon to a boxing match or something?

There is no plot the whole movie is like "Oh my god what happened how did that get there blah blah blah".

The ending... Could it have been any worse??? Like did they just rip it off from one of those "Footage of Ghost" videos on Youtube?

On the movie poster it says something like you won't fall asleep after watching this movie. Well I'd fall asleep for sure if I watched it again.

Finally, someone else who barely jumped and thought the film was overrated. Good for you! It's about a scary as the Blair Witch Project, which wasn't scary at all. All the movie has going for it is a website and a clever marketing scheme. It's not that good of a movie, but then again, it's just a student film.

The people who say it's good are either part of the movie company or just don't want to admit that they were suckered in and paid $10 or $11 for something that really wasn't that good.

Actually, Jason B, it wasn't done well at all. A word of advice: don't insult those who have a different opinion of a movie than you do. It only makes you look bad.

ive considered it, there are some variations of it. even though it isnt that frightening, the only relatively freaky section is whilst that's the tip. im not likely to break it for u, yet there are some endings. enable me understand what the ending excursions became and ill tell u wat befell yet whats up like the action picture, it stored ur eyes on the exhibit screen =]

I guess subtlety eludes some people. It wasn't as scary as advertised, but it was done well.
