•diarrhea and vomiting, sometimes, but more commonly seen than with seasonal flu

If you have a majority of these I would suggest to go to the doctor!

no a blood test is not the only way. one way is that they stick a long cotton swap thing up your nose and test the stuff, mucus maybe, that comes out. if u r trying to tell by symptoms u could just have a cold mixing in with allergies or just seasonal flu.
