Lost the series season 1?
ok so im watching lost and i am so confused. I thought they said 47 people survived. Im on episode 6 and i feel like i only see the main characters and glimpses of some unknown people. Is it just me? where is everyone else?

i don't want to spoil it for you,
it gets clearer (slightly) in a few more episodes.
but it will focus on the main characters for a while.
just hang in there, cause banging your head against
the wall is half the fun of watching lost.

Believe me, you don't want to see them. There was an uproar in S3 when the producers decided to drag some of them out and make them main characters. Let's just say it didn't end well.
Near the end of the first season, you'll see at least one background guy help out. If you want to know about some of them anyway, try watching the old webisodes with Hurley and Frogurt.
Stick with the show. It's horribly confusing at times, but it's well worth the time.

They just focus on the 12 or so main survivors. You'll see a bunch a background people all the time, but they don't have names and aren't important most of the time.
