Do you use store brand beauty supplies, such as facial cleansers?

If you do, what product and what do you think of it? As good as the original brand? Worse? I'm talking about drugstore beauty supplies--Neutrogena, Clearasil, etc and I'm curious about the facial products in particular. For things such as nail polish remover and cotton pads, I don't think it's as important to compare to name brand.

Recently I've tried the Olay Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths in the CVS brand, and they've been pretty good. I, however, haven't used the Olay brand of this item in quite a while--probably in 2 or three years--so I can't really compare them. I'm wondering if other store brand products that work well enough and can save an extra few dollars here and there. :)

(I'd greatly appreciate opinions from only those who HAVE tried store brand beauty products. Thanks!)

Apparently CVS brand stuff is just as good as name brand stuff in most cases. I used to work for Longs Drugs (a drug store chain mainly found in CA and HI) and we got bought by CVS at the end of last year. When they did our transition orientation stuff they talked about how much research and stuff is done to get our store brand stuff on par with the national brand product. The only cosmetic stuff I've bought that are CVS brand so far are nail polish removers and lotion and whatnot. After I finish my Aveeno moisturizer, I'm gonna try our store brand one though.

Yes. My sister uses the Target facial scrub. It works very well. :)

But her skin is different from mine- mine is very sensitive.

If you want to save money you can try ebay or amazon. They have good deals.

chelsea- murad's toner is amazing. its a little expensive but its worth every penny. :)
