Why do you see these haters that use their Bible to support their hating?

I sincerely hope you are not referring to me as there is not a drop of hatred in my makeup. Instead I am envious of the few true believers that I have come across in my 70 years on Earth, for they have an inner peace and calmness that I desire and have never had.

If you are a hypocrite however, I will happily engage you in a battle of wits and I must admit it gives me pleasure to show you the passages in Scripture you abuse.

They say the World lost its innocence when John F. Kennedy died. I know it was a shattering experience for me and I sat immobile in front of the TV for three days, exactly like hundreds of millions of people all over the planet. Not many of us batted an eye when Jack Ruby shot Lee Harvey Oswald on live TV, we were still in shock.

Since 1963 I have been an amateur Biblical historian, trying to find answers to all the "whys" in my mind. Along the way I have lost my faith and do not recommend researching the Biblical Books without a mentor. But I know the New Testament better than most men and the Old Testament like few men ever have.

I am relatively new to this website, have a few best answers, and I assume that most of the questions come from children who are looking for attention by saying outrageous things, or the parents of those children who don't have a clue. To them I ask, "besides the dope, do you smoke a lot of cigarettes too?" I thought so, very intelligent.

I spend a couple of hours every night scrolling through the questions on this website and usually only find a few worth answering. Is the sophomoric stuff a constant?

I know, it's ridiculous.

I was on Telegraph in Berkeley CA just half an hour ago and there were a group of 'christians' shouting and swearing at passers by, calling them 'f@ggots' and telling them they were going to be 'destroyed' and that evolution is '********'.

They then busted out the 'a fool has said in his heart there is no god', but when I asked them what Matthew 5:22 said they ignored me and kept on shouting. Hypocrites.

Jesus would be proud.

Because the Bible makes a versatile weapon? LOL

I see a lot of people empowered by their belief and, in their fervor, go against some very basic rules that are in that very same belief structure... weird, huh? ;oD

People will use any excuse to display hatred and in the process make themselves feel superior to someone else. The Bible is as good an excuse as any other.

I see more hatred toward Christians and Jews right now than anywhere else.

Truth and hate are two different things, dude.

I think they hate themselfs and life..so why not hate other people.
