I am working on an electrical arc flash survey and have an equation to use but it is useless to me because of my ignorance of how to use what seems to be fractional, negative powers. The formula gives a constant raised to the -1.96 power. I am unfamiliar with this. I can see 5 squared = 25; or 5 cubed = 125; but what is 5 to the -1.96 power?

I am regularly use the Religion and Spirituality page of Yahoo Answers and am quite certain that my computer is being monitored at least for the time I am on line there. It is common knowledge among R&S users that a number of people called "Report Monkeys" routinely remove questions and answers that do not suit their personal viewpoints. Earlier this evening an R&S user posed a question about starting a petition protesting violations of WWW policies on Yahoo Answers. While I was answering the question and my unfinished answer were removed. I have since asked a Question about the incident, received a number of answers and now find the answers removed.

If it quacks it's a duck. If there is illegal censoring I intend to sue. Without a doubt there is monitoring and censoring regularly. What can I do ? Does this kind of thing happen on other Answers categories?

A friend recently asked me to attempt to download pictures from her camera onto my computer. We put her chip into my camera but could not read anything. Much later I find the locked message on my camera. I cannot take pictures or retrieve what is on my chip. Anyone know what I can do?

A sailing friend has night vision equipment that detects 9 - 11 different shades of black instead of using infrared lighting as in the past. Wouldn't this concept be useful in converting B & W photos to color? Is software available that can make the conversion possible on my home computer?

I recall reading about an early Christian belief concerning Martyrdom: That there are a number of Martyrs, it may have been 144,000, that must be completed before Jesus will return. It helps to understand the nearly suicidal desire among the early Christians for Martyrdom. Who wrote about this, or what Book is it in, if it is Biblical?

While answering a question about the present day State of Israel I was reminded that Cyrus of Persia is called the Messiah by one of the Prophets because he was used as God's instrument in freeing the Jews from the Babylonian exile. Is it possible, taking God's mysterious ways into consideration, that God used Adolph Hitler to get the deed to the Holy Land finally? Did Adolph gather the Jews from the diaspora in Jerusalem as prophesied?

5 - 6 years ago I had the greatest collection of oldies but goodies on my computer which I had downloaded from a website called BLUBSTER. Within a very short time my computer began to get slower and slower and eventually became unuseable. I am hesitant to attempt using a website that is shareware but desire the ability to find those old songs again. What is the latest way to emulate the BLUBSTER attraction--any song ever recorded available free within minutes?

Is there any chance at all that the answers staff can share the criteria used for deleting questions and/or answers for us little people to understand? I have just wasted two solid hours answering a question about the Council of Jerusalem as described in Acts 15 and critiqued by Wikipedia.

Answers refused to accept my answer and informed me" Question deleted." How and why was this question deleted and who is responsible for making the decision to do so? Am I not entitled to know? I have lost track of how many times this type of thing has occured and if I ever totaled up the amount of time I have wasted writing an answer in vain I would probably get off of this website.

I expect no answer from the answers staff but does anyone out there have information that can sooth or fuel the anger in me right now?

I purchased two wonderful paintings at a flea market. Both had frames damaged by termites and I was able to buy them at a good price. When I was removing the pictures from the frames I found that they were indeed original oil paintings, but the painting was done on the glass and really, people are seeing the reverse side of the painting. If the glass broke, the painting would be gone.

Both paintings are of an Asian woman dressed traditionally. In one picture she is putting flowers in a vase. In the other she is seated with an open book that shows Asian writing. I can find no signature.

The needle is jammed into the bobbin casing and I cannot move the handwheel. Help. Is there a trick to remedy this situation?

Occasionally users of the Poker site will receive email advertising "robots", a software that will play your poker hand for you, using the laws of probability. The manufacturer will guarantee that you can go to sleep, let your robot play, and you will wake up richer than before.

Is it possible that the Answers website leaderboards are infected by robots? Call me a skeptic, but the numbers posted versus the time in

membership are questionable.
