Not only fate desting, God, or the god of luck,

people blame, their siblings, their work, their inferior treatment, other nationalities,

it seems diverting blame has become the norm for many.

I find I get alot further in life when I ONLY blame myself.

That way there is something I can do about it.

    I believe you are correct.

While most of these answers are laughable (omnipotence a paradox huh? wow...), there are many, many ways to look at it. True, religion is an invention of man, but God is not. Religions are basically the way we perceive God and his rules, which is why there are so many religions. However, the one thing they all have in common is Faith. God exists whether you want to believe it or not, but faith is the only thing that gives us that solidity to know for a fact that he does exist. Atheism and whatnot may be widespread but that doesn't mean that because some have no faith all others should follow. It is in fact because of this that God has given us life to begin with. If you have faith, you are already saved. Destiny and fate are also a way to express faith, if destiny didnt exist how would we know that we have fulfilled it? God already knew what you were going to be before you were even conceived. He knew what you would look like, what you would love about life, all your struggles, in an instant. In the end though, it comes down to faith. Was it destiny that I found the perfect woman for me? Was it God who saved us from having to experience a nuclear holocaust? So many answers. Remember though, you can do very little with faith, but you can do nothing without it.

    No, we can not.

But then, we will and we should!

Whenever you are in trouble, psychologically you need some support, some backing and also you need a target to hit back. Thus, when we fail in some thing even if it is because of our own inefficiency or weakness, we need to lighten the burden of failure on us and get some relief. What else can come in more handy than fate, God, destiny etc? Blame them, hit back at them, no one is going to resist you and you do get some relief.

When we succeed in some venture, we do take all the credit to ourselves, our intelligence, efficiency etc but "others" may say that it is because of our good luck. Here, the "others" get relief as they attribute our success to fate and thus lighten their burden of not being as capable as we are.

Thus in every sense, all these falling back process is for creating a better psychological situation for ourselves. It is a pressure release mechanism.

Thank God for this special provision to humans.

[ Recently a systematic study over 3,000 people who were "lucky" and 3,000 who were always "unlucky" was conducted somewhere in the US and the results showed that "luck" basically is the result of "positive thinking attitude" of the lucky persons who have a natural tendency to grab any opportunity, even it is not clearly visible. Sorry, I read this report somewhere but unable to recollect the source.

Not at all. We should never blame others or even bad luck. It's my real life experience , I appeared in a exam with minimum preparation and as expected I failed. Still I tried to find out excuses to answer questions of my family n friends.

One true friend who came to my place told me very frankly that my excuses are lame , as when he told me the circumstances in which he passed the exams( it's the Australian dentistry exam ) I was shocked n horrified. I was scared to know and then I started asking others ( especially my pass outs ) friends and then I realised I was in a much better state of mind , both financially and mentally.

So the next time when I appeared again I gave my best n I passed. I did definitely thank God for revealing truth to me. So it's just we ourself who are responsible of what's happening in our life

There's only ourself to blame. when a person is undisciplined, unorganized, unsystematic- these spells "chaos."

Those traits ask for trouble upon a person everyday of his life but most of us are blinded of our own shortcomings that we tend to blame other people for our misfortunes.

Not every time we can blame fate or destiny but when we see a healthy person or very young children dieing because of cancer or accidents or any other calamities we always get confused ... why they only or why they can not be saved .

No, you're life is in your own hands. No one owes you anything, and all your problems are your own. If you blame your issues on others it just shows how week you are. Unless it's a disease, or an accidental death then it's nature's accident, but not it's fault, life happens, and life is cruel. (Not referring to you)

Blaming is just another word for excuse. Think about it. When some1 gets depressed when using drugs they blame the drug but the drug isnt the reason y ppl r feeling depressed. The reason y ppl feel depressed bcuz they have an addicting personality and they dont like it. U feel me? If u got any questions feel free to ask them on the comment. I will be more than happy to assist u.

God having sovereignty over everything makes it easy for ppl to use him as a scape goat

We can. What you should do is up to you.

All christians blame everyone else except themselves. Except for protestants who blame themselves.

They are both brought up and taught that way.
