Is there hope for my external Hard Drive?

MINE did the same thing....and I ended up having to get another one. I even tried other things in the USB port to make sure it was working...

Try to reinstall the hardware or go to the website to see if there are any new drivers. MINE didn't have it ...but I still hang onto hoping I will find a solution.

I am still hoping that they will answer an email..but I have been sending it for two months and they do not seem to have a good support system.

Like they say about cars....if the service dept isn't good..the product isn't any good.

The product might be the best out there...but if there is no one to back it up then it is dead unless you can find someone! I am not a stranger to computers and can usually fix anything...but I can't get mine to work.

As for the forums....if anyone can't fix it ...not one is going to answer. I tried a couple times and figured it was the same as the service and technical dept.

Wait until Windows loads completely, before you connect the external hard disk.

Then, always disconnect it until you need to do another back up or restore.

Still stuck? The external hard drive may have failed. Test it on another PC.

TIP: These devices are intended for Archive use only, and do not work the same as a second internal hard drive.
