How to insert a JPEG into a PDF?

Time to make a new CV and I would like to include a pic in the corner, but I can't find an "insert image" tool or anything. I have a regular Acrobat Reader and Open Office. Maybe I need to download another app?

    Can't you do your CV in Microsoft Word, insert your desired image, and then "Save as PDF or XPS"? You could work with your PDF directly if you had Adobe Acrobat, but not with just Reader.
